State of the network as of May 1, 2023:
- 1.545 billion TARA staked and delegated
- 36 active consensus nodes on the Mainnet

💡 April Highlights: Conversion Completed!
- Successfully completed the native token conversion! TARA is now on its mainnet as a native Layer-1 token
- Ecosystem project Herbswap officially launched on Taraxa’s mainnet!
- Taraxa began working with a professional marketing team, Nolita Marketing, to raise awareness and drive adoption for the entire ecosystem

- 🩹 Improved partitioning attack recovery
- 🗒️ More detailed RPC error messages
- ⛽️ Improved gas estimation to prevent transaction failures due to low gas (bad estimates)
- 📈 Rate-limited DAG queue growth so it doesn’t outstrip processing speed
- 🛑 Merged peer reduction when network is stuck to prevent nodes from being overwhelmed with gossip
- 🐞 Fixed DAG storage / retrieval problem at startup
🌱 Ecosystem Updates
- 📊 Yield ratio calculation being tested so stakers can pick the best validator nodes
